I have Mac 10.6.8 & am having Firefox issues. Here is a pic of a file I tried to open. I'm thinking it's because my OS is old and won't download AdobeReader

Some PDF files cannot be read and look grid-like...Can't download newer Adobe Reader on this old Mac. I can open these in Safari tho so can't figure out why Firefox is doing this. It's also glitching videos on youtube and itunes.

Is this only happening when the built-in PDF Viewer is used or also when you use Preview?
