Having just installed the new update 128.0.1esr on two different computers running on Windows 10, we have the new problem that when composing new emails the text does not wrap to the window.

Changing the message format (Automatic, plain, HTML) does not make any difference.

Changing the wrap length to 0 in the Config editor does not make any difference either.

This is actually a real nuisance of a problem and we'd be very grateful for help. I suspect this is a bug in the new update but in until it gets sorted out we basically are going to go mad trying to write our emails. Is it possible to revert to the earlier version of Thunderbird, and if so, how?

Hi, This is a problem that has been occurring with Thunderbird for a while now. I thought I'd previously found lots of posts on this topic and I wanted to check them but I can't see to find them now. I use Thunderbird for my work email account. I receive invitations to Teams meetings through email. When I use Outlook on my phone I can see an attached .ics file. When I use the web based email client provided by my ISP I can see an attached .ics file. When I use Thunderbird there's a message that says: "No writable calendars are configured for invitations, please check the calendar properties." and it claims there are no attachments. I don't care if it can't find a writable calendar, I want to download the .ics file. Where is the .ics file? I can download it from the other two clients and then import it into Thunderbird calendar fine. But that's a complete pain in the neck, having to log into a seperate email client to do that. If it's attached file, as the other two clients treat it as, why won't Thunderbird let me download it? Windows 10 Thunderbird 115.13.0 (64-bit)

Please verify the correctness of the email address in the account configuration and try again.

Diappointed with the color accenting in Windows. I only seem to be able to see a customized reply arrow, and a small dot in the 'From' line. In the screenshots on your introductory page the background of the card is accented and bordered. Is this only for Linux, or will it work in Windows 11 also? If so, where can this be set?

I actually prefer the line view rather than the cards in the Inbox pane, and would also like the color accent to be applied to the current selection highlight/background. Here for example (see screenshot) I would like the purple color (you can see it in the reply arrow) to be applied also to the background highlight of the middle email, where it is currently dark grey.

I have 10 email accounts in my Thunderbird 115.12.2 (64-bit) and I am using Microsoft Windows 10 Pro and all my sent, draft, archives and templates are going into a different folder. I want them to go into the folder from which the email was sent but they are all going into the email tinakeeling@att.net.

I have changed it to reflect the correct folder but then a few days later and every time I restart Thunderbird the program changes the folders back to tinakeeling@att.net

I have even unchecked the box "place a copy in" and when Thunderbird is restarted it reverts back.

What can I do to fix this issue?

I struggle with very strange function of shortcuts - when I try to CTRL + SHIFT + R. So far Answer to all recepients. But 1 year ago it works in that way that message disappears and the dialog window is shown with info and option: Mark messages as read from <empty_field> till <today's_date>. When I try to find the message which disappeared I can find it in search results and its location is archive directory. I haven't created this directory. When I try to use combination CTRL + SHIFT + R when chosen message moved to archive directorry (search results) message dissapears again but for good (of course dialog window as described before is shown again). Has any body experienced the same? Any clues what happened? Any new update? How to restore proper action for CTRL + SHIFT + R? Any ideas?

Is there any way to keep Thunderbird separate and retain my current email address?

Ever since the Airport computers got their Blue Screen of Death, I have been getting continuous Pop Up from https://tsdtocl.com/. It is only occurring on my Yahoo.com email account currently. This Pop Up has stopped downloads from my Yahoo emails showing "pop.mail.yahoo.com" could not connect. I see no email associated with the Pop Up in Thunderbird. The Pop Up is asking for me to Sign In using my Yahoo account. I expect a Scam since the Pop Up will reappear when closed. Any suggestions to get rid of this Pop Up?

Hello again! I asked this question a few weeks ago--and low and behold, the next day, my sent mails were being copied to my "sent" folder. But several never appeared. Now this is happening again--sent mails are not being copied to the "Sent" folder although I have that checked in setting--and it's very annoying! I see a small arrow to the left of a message I answered, but it's very important for me to have a record of all my correspondence. And without the copy I feel unsure that it was actually sent? Why is this happening? What should I do to get my sent emails copied to my "sent" folder ?? Thanks. Best, Nancy

Is Thunderbird going to hand out email addresses as a client instead of being a browser? I would really love it if Thunderbird did this so I can get rid of my....antiquated MSN account. Microsoft has become rather full of their self, and I would prefer to be able to sever my last tie to them.

Good morning- my name is Paul B. I use Thunderbird for my email box sender and receiver. For the last few days I am not getting my encrypted Mailfence messages on Thunderbird but they are coming through on my cell phone. I have a backup non-encrypted email on Thunderbird and it is working find sending and receiving. I checked Thunderbird and it said I needed to verify/update my Open PGP Key which I did. It offered the option of setting up a new Open PGP Key or verify the old one. I verified the old one and got a Thunderbird response that this was verified with them yesterday but I still am not getting Mailfence emails on Thunderbird.I sent a message from my wife's computer to my Mailfence account and received it on my cell phone but not on my laptop/Thunderbird site this morning. My name is Jasper. I've downloaded Thunderbird and linked my gmail account to it and I'm at the point where I'm ready to delete emails from my gmail account. However, I weary that I've done something wrong, not followed the instructions properly and when I proceed with deleting my emails I may lose them permanently. Is there some way someone can review my account and check that everything is in order?
