Tried installing v115 latest on Ubuntu. Hangs when I try to set up email acc and it tries to log into the Gmail server. "Danger ahead" displayed on page with no option to force it to proceed.

Thus please dispense with any solutions for this and just inform how I can install v91.1.2 using apt-get

I see you list the versions but I see no where on how to specify which version to install.

I downloaded Thunderbird 115 into Downloads/ directory Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and extracted the bz2 file. I did a cd to thunderbird and ran ./configure. Error the file was not found. What am I missing?

I am recovering my thunderbird browser after reinstalling it. Before the reinstall, thunderbird was full of the apps currently in my firefox "M Gmail", but the reinstall left thunderbird empty.

I have entered the folder names from "M Gmail" into thunderbird, but I can't seem to copy the "M Gmail" folder contents to thunderbird.

During my ~3 week absence from gmail, several users have emailed me suggestions as to how to get back on the internet; I will answer them in time, but I'd rather send them thunderbird emails.

How can I copy files from "M Gmail" to thunderbird?
