How do I stop these recurring update notices? Every 3 seconds. I'll update when I am ready as this current one does not affect me at all. For a while I fell for it, stopped what I was doing and did the ridiculous update, it still continues! I can move on to a different non-Mozilla browser if I have too. Return the option to not update and/or do it manually. FF127.0.2

Firefox won't display background video on my website http://iconx.tech/home-1-8/ while other browsers do it seamlessly. Kindly fix this issue, or I regrettably needs to point out to my audience that webpage has been reported to break on Firefox and advise them to use Chrome or other browser.

I'm having issues with videos loading on ANY webiste, YouTube ect.... This started happening very recently out of the blue. Videos work fine on Edge. Additionally, I cannot run Firefox in troubleshooting mode? It crashes. I tried "refreshing" and reinstalling Firefox to no avail. I am using AdAware AV and AVG anti viruses if it matters, I have tired disabling both and loading FIrefox, no changes.

I tried filling out a Contact form on a website here: https://www.klineind.com/contact/ using Firefox and after submitting it, I got the message, "Sorry, for technical reasons you can't submit your query from this browser. Please try using a different browser or computer." So I started over again using Google Chrome and the form was successfully submitted!

I have screenshots of both Firefox and Chrome after the submission but I cannot attach them here, it appears. For better troubleshooting, I suggest that screenshots be allowed to be attached.

I have recently had some issues with Firefox's compatibility and which hopefully will be addressed.

I can no longer edit existing bookmarks on the main browser page. Not the bookmarks in the menu; the ones that are under icons on the main browser page. The edit option doesn't show up when I hover the mouse.

Hello! Since 9th of july web version of telegram app doesn`t work. Please, help to solve this issue. Mobile version of telegram works fine, as a web version in another browsers, except Mozilla. In attached file you can see how telegram displayed in Mozilla.

I use multiple windows with multiple tabs in each window. I am wondering if Firefox can be improved so that when I open a link in a new tab it opens in my CURRENT window (the one I'm looking at in front and the one in which I asked to add a new tab) rather than a window in the background or minimized. Firefox chooses to open new tabs in the last window in which I opened a new tab, even if they're in the background or minimized, which gets very annoying because I am constantly switching between windows to work on different topical projects. If this could be fixed I would appreciate it! Thanks.

Three weeks ago Mozilla disabled the Password Boss plug-in for Firefox. We contacted the developers about this and a few days later they submitted new code for your approval. It's been almost 3 weeks since then and NOTHING has happened! We used to use Firefox exclusively but had to move to Chrome because you disabled this plug-in (and we use it for EVERYTHING).

When will this be approved so we can install the Password Boss plug-in again? And why wasn't there ANY notification that you were going to do this? It crippled our work!

When a site sends a Web Push Notification to my browser, it flashes up at the top of the screen for 2 or 3 seconds and then is gone. Sometimes I'm busy with something else and once I see it, it's gone, or I just catch the first word or two.

How can I display the Web Push Notification again?

I'm running Firefox on Fedora Linux, if that matters.

It's a NIGHTMARE trying to read a web page! control C USED to work but they have messed with it and so it's really non functional as it only shows part of the page and HIDES a lot of it so that scrolling does not work! A real disaster now.

Google has it in for you and Duck Duck Go also, it's obvious a big war is going on and they do things to hinder. so wish you had not SOLD OUT THE MAIL. It is not better. I'd give a lot to go back to just how it used to be! No way am I doing any more updates! And I still get messages from others who say they agree with me.

They keep "updating" the internet but it is to take back the privacy we used to have. So many things don't work nice or right or even safe anymore!

Settings > Home > New Windows and Tabs > Homepage and new windows

This setting got reset on me last night. Using 127.0.2.

So, I set it to custom, add in a URL, close the settings, re-open the settings and see it is set.

I close my non-pinned tabs and then close the browser.

Upon opening the browser, I am greeted with an empty tab and the Setting has reverted to "Blank Page".

My PC uses Windowss 11 and I'm on Mozilla. My security programs are Malwarebytes Premium, Windows Defender.Security, and Acronis. There is an Extension called, 'Protect My Choices'. Love It! I have it on all my Browsers. It keeps alot of junk off from my PC. In all my other Browsers, in the Extension details it states "Automatically allow access on the following sites:" I just don't move the button over to on, and the Extension keeps all that junk off from my PC. In Firefox, the above statment and the botton is absent, and all that junk is allowed onto Firefox (Yikes!). I went through Mozilla's Help, Troubleshotting, and Search. I haven't been able to find any clue as to how I can get this Extension to work in Firefox. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. I can't remember how but somewhere along the way I got a tip about how to select this context menu search option not to conduct the search with it, but for the search phrase show up in the search field, after which a search could be conducted.

How do I undo this?

Some time back, for me, both browsers would crash frequently when open at he same time. Then, it stopped, but since I don't use Chrome very often, perhaps the behavior was still the in the right circumstances.

Happened today. I was working in Firefox, and had to open Chrome, and a sort time later Firefox crashed, with a crash message. Wouldn't restart.

After several minutes, I had to go to the Task Manager, to find about 20 Firefox processes still active in the "background processes", with one of them at about 31% cpu. A short time later, Chrome crashed.

Has anyone else seen this?

The Back Button does not work at times. When I right click on the Back Button, many previous sites are shown. It would be nice if this was fixed so it works all the time.

Also, at times the Bookmarks Sidebar disappears all on its own. Why is this?

As of 7/10/2024, I cannot sign in to ATT.com via Firefox. Other web browsers work correctly. The site generates a "902" error (proprietary). In the console, I see a failure to load 2 scripts:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-hdr.js”. LrrController:33:2 Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-ftr.js”.

Note that I can click that link in the console and each of those scripts loads. I have tried disabling tracking protection for the site as well as disabling the adblocker.

I'm not sure why I get this message: "This site isn't currently available in the EU", but only on my Windows 11 laptop. I don't get the message on my cell phone; instead it goes right to the website. They both use Mozilla/Firefox. here's an example: "https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/AN6WxktugKP1Zo6E-gXQSGxZLg4." Connection button shows that the site is secure. I have not cleared the cookies. When I select any one of the subjects in the email which are usually local news items I get this response: "This site isn't currently available in the EU." Here's an example of one of the items: "https://www.audacy.com/wwjnewsradio/news/local/michigan-man-guilty-of-making-threat-of-msu-stage-act-2?utm_source=WWJ-AM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WWJ-AM%20NEWSLETTER&utm_content=WWJ%20Daily%20Recurring%20Newsletter&mi_u=1655089&mi_ecmp=WWJ%20Daily%20Recurring%20Newsletter."

The problem is I'm not in the EU and it appears that I might be dealing with a tracker but when I scan the computer there is no evidence of that. Is there something else that might be going on?
