I recently learned Windows 10 support is going to stop in October 2025. I converted my Windows 10 to Windows 11 a little too early. The options I had was to 'keep everything I have' or manually select what I wanted to keep. Obviously I wanted to keep everything that I have so I selected to keep everything I have.

Windows 11 did a number on my computer. I think it fried my dual band bluetooth usb adapter, deleted saved email messages that included important passwords, and deleted all of my bookmarks that I had when I was using Windows 10 in one swoop.

For the past three days I've been trying to get what I had in Windows 10 back to Windows 11. I was able to replace some things but I seem to can't replace my old bookmarks. It has my job's link on there. I can't access my job through their horrible app but I can access my job online and no longer can do that. Even my history for the past month is gone. I thought I could access both my job points from there but it seems like the day I converted to Windows 11 deleted crucial things. Everything else is there.

Is there a way that I could retrieve my old bookmarks? I did the restore option but it only have 2 days which is the day I converted my computer but as I said, some things magically disappeared and I need those items back.

I'm running Fire fox 128.0.3 in order to watch a You tube video I have to set the playback speed to 0.95. The default value of 1 causes the video to go into fast forward mode with no sound. Unfortunately this value is not persistent and has to be reset each time I open a you tube video in fire fox

Hi, i downloaded the browser like an hour ago because the youtube ads are annoying and i found a "Your browser is being managed by your organization." thingie on chrome, which led me to a virus (found with kasperky), ran windows defender and malwarebytes afterwards, nothing came up.

And so i thought all was good. I wanted to enable autoplay on youtube videos and when i was looking for that option in the settings i noticed this on the left corner again (added images).

Found a post in 2023 about the same thing but it doesn't answer nor help.

when i try to print list of names of removed and in progress only the cover of reolved items does not print details. list is needed to compare to info on experian which azppears to differ with mozilla you show below wsindows 10 i am on windows 11

I am trying to remove a shortcut off of my Firefox homepage. I have been trying everyday of what I can do, clicking "Dismiss" or "Delete from History" will not do anything. I am trying to find out what other ways can help, but so far, none seem to help for now. I haven't been on the website because I didn't need to anymore. I have been looking for ways, but they seem to not help me at all. Is there anyway I can get rid of it please? Please let me know.

I am using 'search:query=seattle&crumb=location:C%3A%5CMyFolder' such query to search in my local indexed files on my windows using firefox 124.xx versions and also all the other browser supports this , after the update to 128.0.3 , this stopped working , Is there any setting to do so that it would start working back. reference link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../search-protocol

Microsoft search Protocol works fine in older versions now it didnt , Any new update stopped this?

Hello, what can I do to prevent the fans in my laptop from turning on at full speed when watching a video, or playing a music stream or internet radio through the site? I tried playing the same media on the EDGE browser and the computer is cool there, only through the Firefox browser, as soon as I turn on a YT movie or a radio stream, the fans start working at full speed. Hello, I have encountered an issue on the google photos website. Allow me to explain by giving the scenario:

Lets say A shared an album with B thereby A being the owner and B being the collaborator.

When A right clicks an image within the gallery, in the right click menu he has the option to 'save image as'. It does not matter if A is the owner of said image or not.

If B wishes to do the same thing, he can only do so for images he uploaded aka that he owns. He cannot right click on the images A uploaded to save it. Instead he must use Shift + D. The right click context menu only shows "Save webpage as" so we cannot download anything.

I have tried to test it on other browsers and Firefox is the only one with this issue. For chromium based browsers it works perfectly normally.

I have been searching this theme on Firefox theme extensions for days and I think someone can help me. So I also attached an image of that theme. It's the image when I used it 1 year ago and I just fell in love with that theme.

firefox stated it would close, update , open and restore tabs. This happened: a message stating..XUL runner error Platform version 128.03 not compatible with min 128.0 or max 128.0

What do I need to do ?

Had trouble with password for firefox primary password so I reset it, now when i try logging into websites on firefox that used passkey before rest, those sites will not allow passkey as an option that works.

I started getting a message today asking me for primary password in order to access saved passwords. It is not accepting the password I had used previously. Is there a way to reset primary password? What can I do to access all my saved passwords?

If an URL already have many tags or longish tags I can no longer see suggested tags when starting to type tags. Image example illustrates. This URL already have the following tag list:

1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI

Old behavior was if started to type ", spi" it would list suggestions:

Spitfire Spitfire_MkIX Spitfire_MkV Spitfire_MkVI

Easy & clear to select from.

Now it lists all already existing tags before each suggestion:

Suggestions are scrolled right invisible outside the input box.

Who thought this was a good new feature? It adds nothing, I can already see existing tags, why would I want to see them repeated for each new suggested tag (while not actually seeing the suggested new tag)?

How can I turn this *!$&@! off and return to old behavior?

Ever since I switched to Firefox a few months ago, i've noticed that the audio on youtube music vids cuts out when I put the video on a loop sometimes. Moving the play bar to a different point/time on the video fixes it but it is extremely annoying. Can anyone help with fixes? Thanks
