Hello,

We have a vulnerability scanner in our environment that tells us when Firefox needs to be updated. We found that in order to update it, we need to go the settings tab and then to the updates portion of the menu to initiate the update. After this we are asked to restart. Any way to avoid this entire process?

Can we set up these gpo`s so that there is a check for dependencies?

We use Microsoft MDT for computer deployment. We have been installing the Standard version of Firefox for a long time with no problem. Recently we started using AD GPO Templates to configure firefox. To be able to configure certain settings you need to be running the ESR version. I downloaded the more recent ESR version: 102.12.0esr.msi file.

When deploying machine MDT to install Mozilla firefox I keep getting this error: Application Mozilla Firefox ESR returned an unexpected return code: 1618

This is the only application having issues and this issue only came up since I change the installation file to the ESR version.

This is the install command being used in MDT: msiexec /i "Firefoxesr.msi" /qn /norestart

I am posting here and not with MDT support, as this only started happening when I changed the installation file to the ESR version. Has anybody else had a problem deploying ESR version through MDT? Any help on how to fix?

I have recently been enhaciing our security posture and have started sorting out our browser extensions, however I seem to be having errors allowing 2 extensions

• 1Password; and
• Firefox Multi Containers.

I have tried the obvious and removed the {} from both extensions, however still having troubles.

Is someone able to point me in the right direction?

Hi, I would like to migrate my 5000 users over onto FF. One of the requirements is to preload bookmarks for these users, something we can do with Chrome already. We are running on Windows devices and use an ADMX and an XML (listing the bookmarks and folders) to push this policy via InTune. I can't find any means of replicating it in FF... is it possible?

Hello, I want to increase my productivity and add Unhook: Remove YouTube Recommended Videos Comments It hides comments and suggested videos from YouTube, or more videos, but unfortunately I can delete or deactivate it easily. I want to prevent it permanently, and also add Cold Turkey Blocker I want to prevent myself and any user from deleting it, and then I will block access to the local group policy editor using Cold Turkey Blocker And when I do this through the local group policy editor I get an error message, please help me

I am an admin of some servers, i modify the proxy settings of firefox in a GPO, and it works, but now ont thing is that users can modify the settings of "No proxy for" in Connection Settings, then add the urls, then users can access to any web site which they want to, is there a method to disable this? thanks.

Version: Firefox ESR 102.9.0 (64-bit) - Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2

Customers have been complaining for about 6 months that they can no longer drag and drop email attachments from Outlook (Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 - Exchange) into a Help Desk formula. I tested dragging from Outlook desktop and from the web version.

Drag and Drop works when using Edge and Chrome.

This is not a major issue, since customers can use the other browsers, but since they would prefer to use Firefox, a fix would really be appreciated.  :-)

When I type about:policies, I get "The Enterprise Policies service is inactive". I'm trying to validate my configuration against Firefox STIGs which require certain of these policies to be set. So what does this message actually mean? Does it mean no policies are set? Are they set somewhere else? I have Windows Server 2016. Thank you.

Is there a way to force Firefox updates within a specified time window via group policy? The ADMX templates appear to allow enabling or disabling updates or enforcing background updates, but we are not seeing an option in Group Policy to configure a delay or time window for searching for app updates.

I figured out that Comcast hijacked all my Firefox bookmarks and moved them to their internet email platform. I still like and will always use Fire-Fox. I today removed all my bookmarks from the Comcast platform that were my Fire Fox bookmarks and only left their one and only email bookmark on Comcast platform. I can only assume this was a per-arranged maneuver and you were aware of this. I sure the long 4th weekend made time for a underhanded switch over for Comcast.

Dear Team, Our application is accessible on Firefox v101.0.1. But recently we have upgraded our desktops with Firefox v112.0.1. The same application accessible on Firefox 101.0.1 is not able to accessible on v112.0.1.

The error code we could see on browser is SEC_ERROR+PKCS11_GENERAL_ERROR. We have already raised a case with HTTP support team but they have suggested to check at browser level. i need to know how to achieve the following using windows 10 registry.

1. Block Extension installations and disable existing installed extensions.

2. Allow only approved extensions so that users could install it from the store.

These settings were able to configure easily for Chrome and Edge browsers.

Hello, and good day. Some of my employees in our org have been using Mozilla as their preferred browser; however, I am having difficulty deploying or managing the browser to deploy the Torii Extension/add-on.

Torii provided me with this link https://support.toriihq.com/hc/en-us/.../5148326594203-Deploy-the-Firefox-Extension to deploy the extension but still to no avail. Can someone assist me with getting this tested and deployed?

We use Firefox ESR for along time in our organisation but with the last update, a specific page wont redirect to the ADFS page. In the latest normal version of Firefox it works and also other browser but not in ESR.

The webpage is https://rx-base.nl/ and https://preprod.rx-base.nl/

We are using the latest version of ESR. It gives a blank page with in the console a error:

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Fout bij het oplossen van modulespecificatie ‘@rxbase/root’. Relatieve modulespecificaties moeten beginnen met ‘./’, ‘../’ of ‘/’.

Please advise on what to do.

We are looking to mass deploy Firefox x64 for Windows to all staff in our organization, using SCCM. I know you can set a default home page in mozilla.cfg for all users, including future users who don't yet have a profile on the computer Firefox is installed on. Is there a similar option so I can configure Firefox to always show the menu bar for all users? Preferably, another line I can add to mozilla.cfg so that I can easily copy that to all our machines? I've successfully added all the admx profile settings we want for our deployment except I can't seem to get right syntax for adding multiple sites to the exception list. We've successfully blocked all urls in the block oma-uri but for the exception it only shows a single example not multiple. (https://github.com/mozilla/policy-templates#websitefilter site) OMA-URI:
