I currently have a wildcard certificate installed on one of internal websites with no issues until today but only with FireFox. When you try and open it there you get a SSL Bad Cert Domain error and when you view the certificate its for a completely different website called *.getflywheel.com . Opening the site in Chrome or IE works fine and shows correct certificate installed. I have tried to remove history, uninstall the program, delete profile, turn off suggestions, delete cert database but nothing works. I reconfigured the server to use the old self signed cert and it still shows incorrect in Mozilla almost like something is cached on the PC but I have deleted everything I can think off. I remove AV as well to test but had no affect. If I install Firefox on a PC not installed before it seems to work ok so its something with this particular PC or profile.

Can someone tell me what settings I need to change to get the suggestions in the URL line to sites I actually go to? I go to mediaite.com and msnbc.com multiple times a day, but if i type the letter "m," Firefox fills in "mail.google.com." I literally never type that! Where is it coming from and why won't it go away? Support says highlight it and do Shift + Delete, but using the arrows takes me to the next item, not the gmail one. what is the reason i can't make that stop? I'm over here and I'm duckduckgo because of the tracking, but this is a really basic search i do all day that is needlessly tedious and it's not the only one.

so like i asked, what settings do i need to check or uncheck to make the suggestions be relevant to stuff i actually search? this seems like such a basic thing--suggest the things they've looked at already before random stuff they they have NEVER searched.

today after 10 years my firefox browser has suddenly refused to load newsmax.com because 'secure connection failed'

my viasat browser continues to load newsmax.com normally without any problems on the same computer using win7 and kaspersky

why is firefox doing this and is there a correction?

sins today firefox doesn not diplay most of the websites (some are ok most are not ok) on my mac OS 14.4

Web pages dont look norma, they look more like an FTO download page. This is an all of a sudden issue. Another notebook, mfg, os, browser all the same, so issue is here on this notebook. Everything displayed fine, last nite, today on start up the issue started. This would include sites like ebay,paypal, youtube,, etc. Going to the browser address, pasting it into Google cheome browser, the sites display properly. This is why I keep a second vrowser. Tried the normal cleaning, cache, ccleaner+bleach it+firefox clear data, same bad display. I have grup speed dial extension, with numerous links. I would not be pleased to lose and have to rebuild them if an uninstal/ewinstall is an answer. This is an win7pro os. The image is ow pages load, this is ebay. Suggestions?

Everything was fine until about an hour ago. Suddenly over half My tabs quit working. Either the display is weird and all text, or the page is blank, or there is a small "broken image" icon in the upper left... A few tabs are working fine. On X I get a notice saying, "Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com."

I tried turning off tracking (which was NOT "strict!!!"), and that did not fix the problem.

What is going one????

A little while ago pages on Firefox stopped fully loading -- pics, graphs. A gaming page doesn't load at all. Another has its headings lined up on the far left of the page. Edge and Chrome are fine. I've rebooted and cleared cache. No change. Any suggestions?

I am disappointed with the update since I do not get an email preview when the email arrives when the sound goes off and the background color has changed from blue to brown. I looked around to get those changed but could not find a way.

128.0.3 failed to install on my PC. It completely wiped my firefox, my personal account for both PC and Android, wiped all of my extensions and then left a folder called "Old firefox data" on my desktop. Firefox cant use this folder to import anything.

Wtf happened and why is my profile that is connected to my email completely wiped as well? I had a metric ton of bookmarked sites that I use for my websites, design, programming etc saved for my business and now its all gone and even the recovery backup is completely blank.

I'm baffled.

Hello, I faced such a problem as a very strong contrast on all videos, for example on Youtube. I used firefox 2 years ago and there was no such problem. I tried to reduce the brightness and contrast in the monitor settings, but alas it did not help. Please help me solve the problem

Suddenly, websites in the regular window aren't displaying correctly. It's plain text on a white background. BUT... if I open the same pages in a Private Window, they work fine. How can I remedy this?

When I open Thunderbird, I get the message:

The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded: [AUTH] Invalid credentials.

I cannot get any mail from the server.

When I try to view some video from my security cameras I get the following error message. "No video with supported format and MIME type found". How do I go about fixing this issue? The video whats to open in firefox eveytime.

My devices accounts for s.ramos217@gmail.com have been hacked by a remote user I can still barely login to Gmail but I can't seem to shake the tracker or whatever it is it has destroyed devices files and all online accounts related to that account including Firefox

Hi My PC recently died and I am now trying to setup a new one. Firefox is fine but Thunderbird won't accept my password. I also had a Mozilla support login which I am using to send this message.

I have been using your programs for many years ans wish to continue. How can I get my correct TB password?

Sooo frustrated... wrote this back in 2019: I can't believe this is still a problem, I am upgrading to a new laptop and so have to go through setting google.co.uk to be my default search engine - again!? - but I can't seem to make it happen. Can someone please give me the steps again. and can someone explain why it isn't possible to just choose google.co.uk to be the default - there's a whole world out there that isn't in the .com space

surprise surprise it is still a problem and the resolution provided by jscher2000 - Support Volunteer has been moved/removed:

Add-ons site, for example: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/googleuk/ (this one gets UK suggestions, the other three I checked get .com suggestions, if suggestions matter)

I find the mycroft solution doesn't help.

can anyone help with the addon required please? and a plea to make google.co.uk available as a choice please!
