I have Firefox on 2 computers. One is for my wife. On her computer Firefox defaults to all my settings, including passwords and logins. When she tries to log into her accounts, like CC and banking, everything defaults back to my settings.

How can I set up Firefox on her computer with only her settings?

'bold text'bold textOn 6/24, Juno Security <security@support.juno.com> sent me an email that Thunderbird downloaded that my account had been compromised, & I needed to reset my password. I chanced my password in Juno & put that same password into Thunderbird [I think] Since then I have needed to use that new password to open the Thunderbird program, but Thunderbird won't download email from my Juno popmail to Thunderbird. Thanks for your help.

Currently on 129.0b2 (64-bit)

For the last few months an important feature stopped work and has side effect when trying.

I receive a lot of emails that require a response, and have a button for approve/deny or reply button within the email. In the past, you click on button and it would popup a prepopulated email for response. Now, when attempting, nothing happens, no email automatically pops up to reply. It also has the side effect after attempting, if you click on an other email afterwards, even if it was already downloaded, it show a blank in the windows pane. I have to close TB and restart for things to work again. I now have to open outlook to use the approve/deny buttons. I thought it might have been a change by the sender email, but I am seeing it across the board with any email that need to popup a new email by clicking a button or link with the email. I also went back to previous emails where I know the approve button worked six months ago.. but hitting approve now does the same thing; nothing. And I have to restart TB. Did some change in TB a few months ago? I am seeing the same behavior on all devices.

In the above link, In the step where it says: 4. Select Authentication method: OAuth2 (instead of Normal password).

I don't see the option OAuth2 in the list of Authentication methods.

I need this in order to accommodate microsoft's recent changes.

I retired from a job with a school district and had a school district email account/address. After retirement, anticipating that my school district email account would be deleted, I created a Thunderbird account and downloaded all my messages. Unfortunately, I used created my account with my school district email address. Months later, when I went back to look at them, I tried to log in under the school district address, and got a message from Thunderbird that the account did not exist. I called the school district and they told me they had deleted the account. I am 100 % sure the messages were downloaded to Thunderbird, so I am confident they exist, but I can't access them because they are attached to the deleted school district account. How can I get access to the messages? Is there a work around? If I ask the school district to temporarily reinstate my account might that work. Other ways? Grateful for any help that can be provided. Thank you. Marty

I have a Firefox account in order to use the sync capabilities. After a sync between desktop and phone the desktop bookmarks are on my phone in an extra folder "desktop bookmarks" and vice versa the phone bookmarks are in folder "Mobile bookmarks" in my desktop Firefox. Is this normal behaviour? I would expect them in one common folder to have a seamless synching.

Best regards, Walter

I have copied my profile to an external drive using File Explorer. There were 2 files. Now I need to copy to the Local Folders in the profile. I have chosen Archive folder under Local Folders for each email account. How do I copy to the Local Folders. Or do I just copy the emails I want to archive to the Local Folders. How does Thunderbird know where the external drive is located, or does it need to know. Thanks David.

Used Mozilla etc for some 12 + years, brilliant; but suddenly an issue.

A recvd email, go to forward it and the FWD email has all the source info at top (see file attached). Yes I can delete it, but to every FWD email!! No, there must be an error somewhere.

Please, does anyone know how to sort this issue in settings or setup? Help plse.

Thought...... I have just replaced my whole p/c in Feb 2024, running Win11; with all C drive transferred to new C drive. This has started about 2 months ago, in about May 2024.

Threading seems to have returned to my configuration even though I had previously disabled. The information here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/message-threading-thunderbird about disabling it doesn't seem to actually correspond to options that exist in the 'View' menu.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
