When the flash element launches the settings panel there are only three panels instead of five. The permissions tab is missing. Permissions cannot be set to allow.

If you're talking about a Flash settings panel (it sounds like you are), you can find more information by heading over to Adobe's Flash support site: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash.html

This is a FF only problem. I have not found any solutions on adobe's site. Thanks though.

Do you say that this is a Firefox only problem because you've tested in another browser (Chrome?).

There are known issues with Flash protected mode that may be relevant here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071 http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Flash_Protected_Mode_issues_on_Windows_Vista_and_above

I'm also going to link to an Adobe page about their settings manager in case it ends up being useful: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html

Yes, we've tested on Mac and Windows 7 in all major browsers. We are only seeing this bug on certain machines running Win 7 and in the FF browser.

It sounds like you're clearing doing your due diligence. Do the problem machines have the same version of Flash installed as the non problematic machines? Does the user have the same permission level on all of the machines?
