when i visit amazon.de it still appears in the old blue/orange design. last month they changed their design to white/orange. regardless what i do: clear cache, delete cookies, refresh cache i only managed to get the new design working on amazon.de for one time. other amazon site (.com or co.uk) ususally work, but sometimes after i delete cookies, they also appear in the old design. this sucks. in IE9 the website amazon.de shows in teh new design.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)

You may also have to clear the amazon cookies.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Does it happen after you reboot the computer?

Some security software has virtualization or sandbox features that may cause problems by protecting and restoring files in the Firefox profile folder.

You can also try to reset (power off/on) the router.
