Upgrading from FF 3.6 to FF 8 and all cookies are deleted
Hi,
I have upgraded from FF 3.6 to FF 8 and for some reason the profile upgrade went fine except for the cookies got wiped.
I have a copy of cookies.sqllite from 3.6 and I tried pasting it back into my new profile directory but with no luck - no cookies show up in the browser. For some reason in the options it is stuck on Firefox will: Remember History (although that option is technically fine) even if I try to customize the options.
Any ideas how I can keep my cookies with this upgrade?
Chosen solution
You always see (Never) Remember History selected if all history settings are the default.
You will see "Use custom settings" if at least one change is made.

Hi,
I tried cookies manager+ (opened old copy of profile in FF3.6, pressed backup all to a .txt) - then I opened the new copy of the profile in FF 8 and restored all. It did not restore all my cookies though, only some of them. Is there a limit to the amount of cookies that are ported over?
E.g. I can open up the .txt it created and see lots of cookies that weren't imported into the new FF.
I think I got it fixed with FEBE, Thanks.
