When ever I upgrade to Firefox 4 all my old book marks dissappear. And then when i restart my computer I am back having the old version of Firefox again and have to upgrade once again. I have now done that five times and I am about to give up on Firefox. I have a MacBook Pro, is that something that causes any problems? Please help me with this, I don't want to upgrade one more time and add on all my old book marks once more

Best regards, Andreas

Make sure that you install Firefox properly.

Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded
