it keeps saying "You're almost done. Press ALLOW to get started," but I don't see "ALLOW" on the screen.

Hello joygall,

Please, don't click on anything  !

That "You're almost done. Press ALLOW to get started" comes from an extension that is installed in your Preferences => Add-ons => Extensions :

InboxAce 8.885.14.38124 (_1gMembers_@www.inboxace.com)

(this extension shows up in your system details)

It's a browser hijacker; malware, that you will of course need to get rid of.

Would you please remove that extension (and any other extension that you didn't install yourself) and run the malware scans that are listed in this article :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. They all work differently - what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.
