Firefox crashes on opening the save as window

Hello, since today Firefox crashes when i try to save a picture. When i click on save as a new window opens and my pc freezes a few seconds before the Mozilla Crash Reporter appears. The same happens if i try to change the download folder in the options. It works normal on other browers. I have already tried all the other solutions from this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help . I also tried deleting my profile and reinstalling Firefox.
