On some websites when you click on "back" nothing happens.

Does the website tell Firefox to forget the previous page ?

Then please explain to me what's the catch.

I'm searching for something and land a junk movie streaming website which opens this of other windows ... quickly I close every one of them and click on "back" but nothing happens. Click on "back" 450000000 times nothing happens.

Pls let me understand , basically those sicko compile their website full of adds , desperate for that Google content niche ads payback, and in that they include a command line to tell the browser to forget the previous page. Am I right ?

I'm fed up seeing that I click on "back" and the browser doesn't go back . This happens as well in Chrome .

Thank you. Any advice warmly welcome. Mik

Websites can't tell Firefox to forget the previous pages. Did you consider the possibility that ads are being opened in new tabs. That will ultimately leave the last tab open with only one page. So, you are not able to go back as there is no record of any previous pages for that particular tab. Try visiting the website again and see if these new pages are loaded in new tabs.

Hope this helps! Please report back to us!

If you open a link from another app and then switch to Firefox hitting back will close the tab and take you back to the previous app. If you don't want to loose the tab use the Android app switch button or try long pressing home if your device does not have the app switch button.
