Stuck in loading loop

Subaru.com... Trying to figure out why this site gets stuck in a loop of the page loading as soon as you click on any vehicle. The main front page loads up no problem but you seemingly can't get beyond that in Firefox here. Site works fine with no issues in Chrome. This is the mobile site I'm referring to by the way. Just figured I'd ask since it was a very specific instance of a problem.

HI shawn_c, I understand that the connection is in a loop when this site is loading. In order to reset the connection, if you open a new tab and swipe over to "History" and long tap on the subaru.com entry. Tap on remove.

Next, open a new tab and visit the site one more time. Sometimes, cleaning out the cache can created a faster page load.

Thank you for the response guigs2, however the issue persists even after clearing all cache. I believe there is something about the way Firefox for Android is handling (or not handling) the page that is causing this since again, it works correctly with no issue in Chrome.

Hey Shawn!!!!!! This is David. I understand that when going to subaru.com/mobile, that Firefox, for android, can't get past the first page. I had to conduct some extensive research on this issue. First of all, their could be issues with the extras that some websites have. The formatting, for these sites, could be different and therefore could cause compatibility issues with Firefox for Android. Here's a website you could check out for more information:

Also, I would recommend that you take your device to the store you got it from and have the store get a technician to look at your phones software. Maybe there is a possibility that your phone's software needs to be updated. This is true for your phone's security software as well. Also, the technician should be able to tell you if Firefox for Android is compatible with your phone due to Google Play store not always being right all the time, when telling someone that this software is compatible with this device.

When it comes to security, this is where Firefox does come ahead in front of IE or Chrome. It could be the security features in Firefox for Android that could be the reason other pages may not be pulling up or causing firefox to go into a loop.

Shawn, I am going to have to research this issue a little further. I have tried looking into the Knowledge base and Google for researching this information. So far, I haven't found anything indefinite. I would recommend trying taking the phone to the store where you got the device from and ask the representative to have a technician to check the phone's hardware and software to ensure there are no compatibility issues. Although, the play store may have said that this software is compatible for your device, there is a possibility "Firefox for Android" may not be compatible with your particular device. The store's technician should be able to figure it out. In the meantime, I am going to do some extensive research into this matter. I wish I had a solid solution to your browser going into a loop when getting past "subaru.com" main page. Rest assured, the minute I figure something out I will let you know.
