Taskbar Jumplist Recent and Frequent Items

I was having problems with the Jumplist going blank; this has been recurrent and seems to be associated with limitations within Firefox. I had a go at establishing what these might be. Firstly, I removed the firefox file in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations and did a reintall over the current installation. Then I played with about:config searching for entries containing taskbar. The default config worked normally. I could increase browser.taskbar.lists.maxListItemCount to 25 successfully. 29 or more broke the Jumplist (I didnt test every intermediate value between 25 and 29).

With browser.taskbar.lists.maxListItemCount set to 25, setting browser.taskbar.lists.recent.enabled to "true" again broke the Jumplist. To get the Jumplist to work again I had to reduce browser.taskbar.lists.maxListItemCount to 12 (giving 12 recent and 12 frequent entries).

This worked correctly; I suspect that Firefox will only handle about 25 Jumplist entries and if recent items are enabled, the total of recent and frequent has to < 25.

Some initial testing suggests that pinned items come out of this apparent maximum as well.
