My Firefox tab keeps crashing on a particular website. Whenever I go to twitch.tv, the site begins to load and then I get the "Gah. Your tab just crashed." screen. I'm only getting this crash on twitch.tv pages, and this issue just started on May 31, 2024. When I try to open a twitch.tv page in Private Mode, the page loads just fine. I've never had a Firefox tab crash prior to this.

I've tried turning off all of my Firefox extensions, but that didn't solve the issue. I also tried opening Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode, but I still got the tab crash. I'm using the latest version of Firefox as of today's date.

My PC froze and had no choice but to reload win 10. After doing so I had the choice to download win 11 for free which I did. When I download Firefox all of my bookmarks were missing. I have tried to follow your instructions to retrieve them i.e. Troubleshooting... Application Basics ... Profile Folder...Open Folder... which opened >>> C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\42o9xo83.default-release . Sadly, I am not a Teckie and I do not have a clue what the next move is to get my bookmarks back.

If you close a tab that is next to one or more unloaded tabs, firefox jumps those and opens the next one that is loaded. Is there a way to disable this so upon closing it would open the right tab, whether loaded or not. I tried "Select After Closing" add-on, didn't fix it. Disabled Auto Unloading via about:config, same result.

Hi, I've recently downloaded firefox and trying to add extensions that were similar to the ones I used on chrome. My problem is that all the extensions (Hoverzoom, Short Keys) in the extensions tab in the toolbar and appear to not be working (both in private and normal browsing). However the extensions (Ublock, SponsorBlock) that have their own icon on the toolbar seem to be working fine.

More than half of the websites are broken when viewed in Firefox now E.g. theguardian, youtube. It takes way too long to load and most of the time it's only part of the page. The same websites work on Chrome and Edge without any issue.

And then I try to upload screenshots (.JPG) to this form and it doesn't work?

I'm wondering why FF doesn't have something built into the browser that will resize text when you zoom in. Right now, if I zoom in on text, it DOES get larger, but then it also goes outside the edges of the browser so that I have to constantly scroll left and right to read the article I did come across an add on, but come on. This is something basic that should be build into the browser:

I am getting "Secure Connection Failed", Ive seen literally hundereds of same error also exist here. Like most of default solution (which is below) did not work for me. My laptops time is correct, And I highly doubt reddit and most of internet has issue with its security certificates. And other browser works just fine. So What is my solution other than immigrating to new browser?

I am trying to get a older version 56.0 32 bit to use autofill on a site that has been working but now blocked it. The site is NICS site to do a background check it will load and on the second page after about three min. a message pops up and states something like not allowed is there a way i can change setting to get the old version to allow this ? I also use the same setup to do a military lending act check and it has also been blocked in the past few weeks. The new version will work but i can't use autofill i don't care what version i use i just need the autofill.

when I sign into Goog/setting/2 step, the page does not show "app passwords." I've turned off my ad-blocker extensions and pop-up blocker on the page. See attached.

When using amazon the login and page load times are excessively long. More often than not I can open MSN, load amazon, login, and find what I'm looking for before Firefox has completed signing me in or searching for an item. This is not a once in a while problem, it happens every time with amazon, some times worse than other times. Ive deleted and reloaded Firefox, cleared all history and tried as many other things that I could find online to try, none of which helped.

If I open a second tab on the screen it says the connection has crashed and keeps doing it if you try again. If you reset it resets Firefox including the other tab.

This pops up every few hours. Sometimes it pops up invisible but steals focus from the main window. How can this be disabled?

I tried all methods that have been mentioned everywhere on the Internet, including policy.json, Group Policy on Windows, etc. Nothing disables this nagging yet.

When I do right mouse click on page, depending on the mouse cursor position, context menu appears and I need to scroll up or down to access appropriate item. I thought I need to try and fix size and position of a page context menu. Is it possible? I am trying to add an mp4 video to my website using the following code:

where ### is the name of the video file. I get the following error message:

"No video with supported format or MIME type found."

In the console the following is displayed:

Runs just fine in Chrome and I have no pop-up blockers installed. Autoplay is set to be allowed for all websites.

Windows 11 version 23H2. Firefox version: 126.0 (64-bit)

On Edge or other search engines I've been able to highlight, copy and past a web address where the pasted result is a clickable link to the website, but this doesn't work for Firefox. I have looked through the settings and other questions online, but found no solution, from what I can see people more often ask about the opposite issue to mine. Is this a limitation of the search engine or am I dumb?

I am trying to open a website but I keep getting error code 522. I've tried using Chrome and it connects to the website with no problem. I've checked my privacy settings and I do not have that website blocked. What else can I check? I don't think it's an issue from the website side.
