I went to change an option on Firefox (stop asking to save passwords) and I got a message "your browser is being managed by your organization". I am a private owner, this is not a business. What organization?

What security software do you have?

Some security software acts as a man-in-the-middle and places itself in the internet connection chain in order to monitor your internet traffic. To be able to do this they need to add their root certificate to browsers to prevent getting a SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER error.

This causes Firefox to show the message that you got.
