Navigation toolbar is set to only appear when tab is scrolled over, but I'm not in full screen mode.

I want navigation toolbar to remain on screen. The only toolbars I can add to show are the menu bar and bookmarks toolbar. Neither of these allow the navigation toolbar to remain. I'm running Windows 10 (unfortunately), if that makes a difference.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

What toolbars do you see to show or hide??

You can use one of these to set which toolbars to show.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Customize -> Show/Hide Toolbars
  • View -> Toolbars
    You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
  • Right-click empty toolbar area
