Well you have been given the same settings I found. Have you tried them? What does thunderbird find for itself if you let it run automatically?
Automated systems have awful difficulties with these horrible regional addresses, like the "wi" (wisconsin?) in your original set.
There are no special settings or patches needed with Thunderbird to work in W10.

There is no phone support for free software. It is not a good idea to post your personal info in a public forum.
still have problem, you didn't answer anything. Why am I getting "error occurred with the POP3 server. Mail server pop-server.wi.rr.com responded"??? showing up when I try to get my email. TWC referred me to YOU "THUNDERBIRD" please help.
Were TWC happy with your settings?
At this site: http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/support/faqs/faqs-internet/e-mailacco/incoming-outgoing-server-addresses.html they give quite different server settings.
Where did you get yours from?
while on the phone with TWC the indicated that everything they see is okay and the problem goes to you. We have downloaded windows 10 and that seemed to be when the problems created. Are there current updates from ThunderBird that we need that runs properly with windows 10 or do you really have now idea what I'm getting error occurred with the POP3 Server? Under roadrunner.txt Account Type: POP or POP3 Incoming Mail Server: mail.twc.com Incoming Server - POP3 110 Outgoing Mail Server (SMIP): mail.twc.com Outgoing Server - SMTP 587 There is additional items listed on this txt so I'm not sure if this is enough or not.
