Have two different email accounts on Thunderbird, one for business and one personal. They're both from my ISP, not from gmail or another outside provider. I can delete messages from the first one listed (my business) but not the second. It also stalls out when I try to run the delete spam option. (I don't get any spam on my business account, as I only use it for business, so it's not out there on the web.) Ideas?

I'm using Windows 8 (not 8.1) and whatever the latest Thunderbird version is. They're both IMAP accounts. I was using Windows Live, but I couldn't get that to work, so I switched to TB. It works JUST fine for the one account, but not the other! They're identical except for the "handle". Both off my local ISP, set them up at the same time.

OK, I fixed it! I set the second one to "set as default" and now I can delete BOTH account's old emails. Don't know why that would make a difference, but it did, so I'm not going to mess with it.
