When online and entering passwords or entering form information it take multiple tries. It seem that the first, second and more tries seem to be lost and the receiving site goes back to a blank form or some type of reject message.

== When I updated to Firefox 3.6, Firefox Yahoo Edition 1.7

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

Meanwhile install the form recovery extension to avoid losing what you filled in.

Thank you, Cor-el and anonymous for your help. The safe mode did not work. I noted that there was a new version of Firefox available so I downloaded it and installed. During this process I received a note saying that there was a corrupt file in my installed version. After the update Firefox seems to work fine. Thanks again.
