Hello, I am using version 60.09.0, and prior to this update, did not seem to have any deletion issues. Godaddy is my host, and have four emails accounts with them. All are read through Thunderbird. I am only having with one account, emails in the trash seem to get deleted to the beginning of each month. I have the retention policy set to "Not Delete Emails". The manage storage checkbox "Empty Trash on Exit" is not checked. This only seemed to start after one of the last updates. Not sure why on one account only, since they are all set with the same configurations.

Thank you, JR

Issues with GoDaddy and emails being deleted issues are common if you use google. eg: https://www.godaddy.com/community/Managing-Email/Trash-folder-auto-purged-emptied-even-though-I-had-it-set-to/td-p/109550 https://www.godaddy.com/community/Managing-Email/Emails-Delete-on-their-own/td-p/34076

Many servers do have an auto empty or auto delete emails that have been in Trash for eg: 30 days. See if webmail account for that email address has a purge option selected on the 'Trash' folder.

Are you talking about a pop or imap mail account ? Do you access that email address using any other means eg: phone or other computer etc?

Hello, This is a IMAP account. I access emails through Thunderbird and iPhone mail. I checked Godady, and purge is set to never. I am starting to think this is a Godaddy issue?

Thanks JR

RE: Iphone Imap accounts will only show what is on server. As TB Imap has nothing removing the email.... Make sure the iphone doesn't have anything that can delete emails as well. Pop accounts that delete emails can delete off server.
