Can not find how to do FireFox on the new setup. HATE the new Fire Fox emailing format!!! One thing is the ongoing back and forth with others I sent an email. Usually to reply, just had to click on reply and send my response fro the just sent email. I HATE THE NEW SET UP!!!!

I first mentioned this in r/Firefox, and was asked to re-post here.

My FF just updated to 127.0.1 even though I have "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" and told it to wait. This was on a Windows 11 box. Everything seemed fine, but then one of my tabs crashed. I selected the reload tab option, at which point it informed me it could not load the tab because a background update had happened and I was now required to restart Firefox.

I'm not certain what version of FF I was on, I believe it was either 126 or 126.0.1.

Now, to be completely fair, I cannot with 100% certainty say that I clicked on the update later option. That said, as I _did not want to update then_, and I have put off the update before, it seems unlikely I would have made the mistake, but I wasn't recording everything I did so I can't play it back and prove it. My initial reaction was to associate it with the tab crashing somehow, as everything was working as expected right up until that moment.

I have Windows 11, Firefox yahoo email. I must have clicked somewhere that consolidated all my email to the left in a narrow format. Can't locate where to correct it. Also had no luck attaching a screen shot. Next to the condensed email, is another column that is blank except for the white envelope. Is there a place where I can change the format? Thank you.

I can't stay on this site for very long at all, and do my best to write out what I need as quickly as possible then leave. I would never contribute to answering any questions other then my own because how bright it is will eventually cause me pain.

In my view, it represents an amateurish view on website design and likely has an impact of skewing the regular user base to people that don't mind it.

After masking them with my duck duck go service, I can't find the link to verify my emails. Where can I see any return responses using my mask email?

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

I have been a long term Firefox user, but recently Firefox on Ubuntu seems to have more and more problems.

I have Firefox 127.0.2 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 22.04. I have 0 extensions or addons installed.

Another one: I cannot select the country code from the drop down list when entering phone number in Ryanair, so basically I can't buy flight tickets from there. Chromium Browser didn't work as well, but Safari did.

I recently bought a new laptop and didn't import Firefox to the new one. Now I can't access my passwords etc on Firefox because it asks my for my primary password. I have no idea what that might be. Does anyone know if there is any way to recover the passwords please?

I use fire fox as my default browser. It is still the default but now when I go to search the yahoo start page comes on. I cannot search with fire fox as this stupid yahoo home page over rides it. Please help!

Sometimes it happens that an input field on a page in an IFRAME cannot be clicked. The buttons work, but you can't enter anything in the text field.

I just got my PC back from the shop. It's the best LG Gram laptop they had with Windows 11, and it's 1-yr old. Much on it was corrupted and I'm having to reload many items, one being my Firefox. It wouldn't open up. I did the right-click on my mouse and hit the OPEN selection. Firefox still wouldn't open up. I reloaded Firefox hoping that it would correct whatever may be wrong. No, it still won't open up. I'm reaching you now via TOR. My TOR was also reinstalled, but it is able to open up. Can you think of what I may have done wrong? [I'm unable to check the option-email me when someone answers my thread {this email must be a thread}, but this will be fine.] Please note that I am so NOT tech-savvy, I don't even have any smart/mobile/cell phone. Just a plain old phone. (I should add I'm in my 70's, ill, and in a Nursing Home.) I looked through your troubleshooting sugggestions, but they are too fancy for me to understand. I'm not sure how this works, but I sure do hope you can offer some suggestions as to what I can try. Thanks so very much for your time and consideration of this matter. It's very much appreciated.

Hi! From some time now i have problem with GUI elements overlapping each other. It started with the window control buttons (that part, where you can close the window). Esthetics aside, it was not that big deal, so I just ignored it, but some time ago similar overlap appeared on address bar - so now I don't see what I'm writing. This is a big deal, now I can't really tell if I made a typo, I'm not able to correct it or I can't see if what I'm writing is mixed with original url, stuff like that.

I'm on Manjaro Linux and Firefox version is 127.0 (64 bits) I've tried to reinstall Firefox with different sources, like Flatpak for example, but the issues persists. Has anyone an idea how to fix this?
