How to allow Java on trusted sites

In order to protect you, Firefox has stopped some versions of the Java plugin from running automatically because of security issues. However, you can still use Java on trusted sites, if necessary. We'll show you how.

Activate Java once
When you see the "Click here to activate" message, simply click it to load the Java content normally.
Always activate Java for a site
If you have a trusted site that uses Java and you need to use that site often, you can make Java work normally on just that website.
- Click the red plugin icon in the address bar and a message window will open.
- At the bottom of the message window, click the

Now, whenever you visit this site, the plugin will automatically run and you won't get the "Click to activate" message.
Enable Java Plugin if it's disabled
If you have formerly disabled your Java Plugin, then you first have to enable it again before you are allowed to activate it once or always activate it for a site. See Enable Java.
