How to add devices to your Mozilla VPN subscription

You can register up to five devices with Mozilla VPN.

Add a device

Windows 10, Mac and Linux

To add a device, simply sign in to your Firefox Account on that device.

  1. Open Mozilla VPN.
  2. Sign in with your Firefox Account (only required the first time).

Your device will appear on your list of registered devices.

Android and iOS

To add a device:

  1. Open the Mozilla VPN app.
  2. Sign in with your Firefox Account (only required the first time).


Remove a device

You can remove a device from another device. You won’t be able to remove the device that you’re currently using to access the app.

Windows 10, Mac and Linux

If you exceed the device limit, you will be unable to log in to the VPN until you remove devices.

  1. Open Mozilla VPN (you can open it from the Windows 10 app tray too).
  2. Click My devices to see a list of your registered devices.
  3. Click the trash icon trash next to the device you want to remove.
  4. Click Remove to confirm.

Android

If you exceed the device limit, you will be unable to log in to the VPN until you remove devices.

  1. Open the Mozilla VPN app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap My Devices to see a list of devices currently registered devices.
  4. Click the trash icon trash next to the device you want to remove.

You won’t be able to remove the device that you’re currently using to access the app.

iOS

If you exceed the device limit, you will be unable to log in to the VPN until you remove devices.

  1. Open the Mozilla VPN app.
