Starting on June 30, 2021, Mozilla will no longer support Firefox Lite. This application may continue to work on your device, but it will no longer receive support or security updates. For more information, visit End of support for Firefox Lite. Download Firefox for Android or Firefox Focus for a fast, private and safe browsing experience.

Starting with Firefox Lite version 2.0, Content & Services is now a standard offering on Firefox Lite. Life Feed is no longer available. The Firefox Lite Content & Services consists of travel, news, games, and much more that is offered by our partners in certain countries. At the top of the Firefox Lite home screen, you can access this new offering by tapping on the available buttons.

Edit Content and Services

In the menu panel, you can now toggle on/off the Content and Services to customize your homescreen.

To edit Content and Services on Firefox Lite home screen:

  1. Tap the menu button (three dots) at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Show Content & Services to toggle on/off:
    FirefoxLiteContentAndServices

Data and privacy

In some cases, when you tap on suggested content, we will notify the third-party content owner that their content was found on Firefox Lite, but we won’t reveal who found it. If you access a partner’s site from Firefox Lite, you are subject to that partner’s privacy policy. See the Firefox Lite Privacy Notice for more details.
