Customize your Firefox Preview homepage

This article is no longer maintained, so its content might be out of date.

Firefox Preview lets you choose the content that you want to see when you open a new tab. Set it to your favorite site or have it show the default Firefox Preview homepage, which displays great content, such as top-ranked sites, trending stories on Pocket (now part of Mozilla) and sites you've recently visited or bookmarked.

Hide or reorder panels

  1. Tap the menu button (either below the screen on some devices or upper-right of the browser) and select Settings (you may need to tap More first).
  2. Navigate to General > Home.
  3. Tap the panel you want to hide or move: Top Sites, Bookmarks or History.
  4. Tap one of the following radio buttons:
    • Set as default: The panel will be the first thing you see when you open a new tab or open Firefox Preview.
    • Hide: The panel will be removed from the home screen.
    • Change order: The panel will be moved to the left or right of the screen.

Show or hide additional content on the Top Sites tab

  1. Tap the menu button (either below the screen on some devices or upper-right of the browser) and select Settings (you may need to tap More first).
  2. Navigate to General > Home.
  3. Tap Top Sites.
  4. Allow additional content to display on the Tap Sites tab by tapping any one of the corresponding toggles under the Additional content section.
