Saving bookmark folders and individual bookmarks in alphabetical order
I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

You can only do it with an extension, for instance Sort Bookmarks, Auto-Sort Bookmarks, Sort bookmarks alphabetically.
You can do a permanent alphabetical sort by right-clicking a folder > Sort By Name.
You can place a separator between folders and bookmarks in a folder to have sorted folders on top if you use sort by name.
