Open history in a new tab
I just went to History, and my selection did not open in a new tab.
Am I misremembering how this generally works. or have I done something to cause this. I have the Tab MIx extension which helps you to control that kind of behavior
What should I check?

There is a pref on the about:config page for opening a bookmark in a new tab, but there isn't one for the history. For the history, you need to hold the Ctrl key when left-clicking or middle-click the link to force opening in a new tab, just like you would do for a normal link.
