I have Firefox installed everywhere. On my main Windows 10 machine Firefox is forgetting Firefox Multi-Account Containers containers. I also have Firefox Nightly installed on the same machine, and it's giving me no issues. Sync is on, version 8.0.7, tried uninstalling, deleting Firefox, and I wonder if there's a fix or if this is a larger problem.

Hi

I hope we can help, but what do you mean by "forgetting"? What seems to be the problem?

Basically, Firefox (on the one machine) has forgotten the containers that sync to my account. Only Firefox on this one machine does not show the containers. On this one Firefox there are NO containers.

I ended up installing the developer edition to see if it happened with it. It did. Afterward I disabled Container Plus, Containers with Transitions, and I enable all 5 options of Firefox Multi-Account Containers. I then noticed the Containers returned. I not sure what did what, but I'll just hope it remains properly synced.

NOPE, it's still not saving the containers.

Firefox Sync is designed to help sync data between copies of Firefox rather than as an online backup.

Are these containers still available in your second copy of Firefox?
