When I start Firefox it tries to restore the previous session regardless of how the session was ended. How can i fix this so that it only tries to restore if there was a crash?

You can check the startup setting.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Startup: "When Firefox starts":
    "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
    "Show my home page"
    "Show a blank page"

I have already tried all three setting and it has made no difference.
