Why are videos silent when i click on them in the Guardian newspaper?
For example https://www.connexionfrance.com/French-news/Support-your-boulangerie!-French-rant-video-goes-viral in the guardian of today 10th oct plays perfectly but with no sound track.

Have you tried clicking on the little speaker icon at the bottom of the video ?
When I clicked on your link, I didn't get any sound from that video either, until I clicked on that speaker icon, which was muted .....
