I was browsing an NFL teams' website ( I'm sure the site itself is irrelevant ), in Firefox; somehow then wound up with a split screen, after I had logged out of the site, and went to Netflix to look for something to watch instead of a computer screen.

It's still a split screen after hours of trying to fix the problem. I don't recall the exact procedure to get one side out of the window, and until it's gone, I suppose I won't be trying to watch a Netflix movie, and / or TV show.

Anybody have some advice, solution(s), expertise, etc., that will take the split screen down?

Please provide a screenshot. Could it be that you have the 'sidebar' open?

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

I also vote for sidebar as the likeliest culprit.

If you use a link or button on a website to add a bookmark, that bookmark generally has the open in sidebar checkbox checked.
