This also occurs in safari, chrome,I.E., as well; nothing else in my computer is affected, I can upload via ftp etc no trouble, it is that I cannot seem to upload the media files video. If I can find the trouble with fox crashing it should solve all the crashes

That looks like a problem with the RealPlayer.

Are you running the latest RP version?

You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3 or disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 or disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin in case there are interactions between the Flash and RealPlayer.

I installed 10.3 flash player and have the recent RP, yet it still crashes, thanks for the heads up though, I had seen the issue with RP, but with your reminder it should not be the problem

Did you try to disable the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension and (temporarily) disable the RealPlayer plugins as well as a test to see if the Flash plugin works better?

Did you try other (older) Flash plugin versions?

Will continue to work on it, I did not try any later; when I tried to use another one, it would not let me saying it was an older flash and to use the newer one. Thanks, will continue to work on it and keep it updated here. On the last crash after working on the solution you gave, it said Runtime error; which fits, I believe with such a problem as you describe.

I know it is not a virus etc, did extensive scans. This only occurs in browsers; It will get fixed. started at 5 am yesterday, finally quite 9 pm; did not do it all day, but continually all day inbetween other work.

I have gotten Firefox to upload on youtube, as well I.E. can upload to youtube as well, both however crash on Vimeo. I have disabled the RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin and disabled hardware acceleration on flash. I have 10.3 flash player plugin, and have a complete new install of Real player. I have no virus etc.

But there is still no solution yet to upload to Vimeo.
