I want to eliminate an autofill choice that pops up when I sign into yahoo using the Firefox browser. I tried yahoo help which said hover over the unwanted line and press delete, but that did not work. I am using a Mac if that makes a difference.

Use Shift+Delete on Mac.

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

But on different forums I use different usernames (due to restrictions after I settled on a preference), sometimes "Zom_B" and sometimes "zom_b". Whenever I enter "Zom_B", it remembers that, and I can't enter "zom_b" unless I delete "Zom_B", but I don't want to delete it every time, I want FF to remember both!

Edit: added quotes
