FF does not seem to support unicode fonts with extended character sets like polytonic greek with diacriticals. I cannot find how to add additional fonts and I assume it needs to be included with the application

Looks like Android does not have the character ὰ in their font. We have some ideas on how to fix this but they have not been implemented yet. This is mentioned in http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=3167
