Weird font size after update

So I updated my Thunderbird around October 13 2023 and I currently have version 115.3.2.

I use a 4K monitor and after the update the upper pane (where the message list appears) has really tiny font and all the rows seem so close together that they are really hard to read or scroll through.

I have used the 'View-->Font Size' option but it increases all the fonts in Thunderbird literally everywhere and also makes them really thick.

When I go to 'Tools-->Settings-->Language & Appearance' and change from the default calibri 17 to calibri 22, nothing changes. The fonts stay the same.

Is there a way to make the fonts or line spacing less compressed. Making a screenshot doesn't really show 100% how I see this in real life (way smaller) but it is really hard to read. The image below shows unread messages (bold) but once I go to a mailbox with read messages, they are so thin and small that the font appears gray, hardly visible.

Can I download the previous version somewhere? Before October 2023?

Just letting you know that the attached image gets increased a lot when you click on it. In real life this part is just a small portion of my screen.

The row spacing can be changed with View/Density, or from the 3-bar AppMenu. To adjust just the fonts in the Folder Pane or Threads Pane, see this topic:
