I have passwords stored in Dashlane. 1. Would i be anymore secure if i followed your prompts and disabled Dashlane in order to use Firefox relay; 2. If i disabled Dahlane to use Relay would i loose all the passwords saved in Dashlane?

Dashlane support is best direct to their support to reply back to. No one here can say one way or another what 3rd party password storing software is better or good. Also remember this is just a user help site not a support ticket site to answer support type questions.

I would back up the Dashlane passwords before changing to the built-in password manager. Firefox can import .csv files containing passwords (it is necessary to enable a hidden preference first) so you could export the Dashlane passwords as a .csv file if that's possible. I am not familiar with Dashlane. What 'prompts' are you getting?
