Shortly after upgrading from Release 79 to Release 80, I noticed I could no longer save webpages in an HTML format. I could only save pages in TXT format. I do this many times per month, so I know this changed quite recently.

When attempting to save, everything seems to go the way it always did before; however, when saving in COMPLETE format, all that I get is the folders one normally gets, but they are empty and I also do not get the HTML page outside those folders.

When saving in HTML only format, I get nothing at all in my chosen destination folder.

My brother seems to be having the same issue, so I would expect many others would have already reported this.

I am running Windows 10 Home.

Thank you, Any help you can give is appreciated.

I have a little more information. I tried clicking the DOWNLOAD button on the toolbar to see what I could see. It looks it is showing all of the files I tried to save with the word "Canceled" followed by the source and timestamp. Next to that was a button displaying a circular arrow and identified as "Retry." I clicked the button and, after a few seconds, "Canceled" was changed to "Complete." When I returned to the destination folder, I found the file that had been missing but noticed that the support folders were still empty. However, when I opened the file in a browser, it appeared to be complete.

I tried saving another file and found that I afterwards needed to go to the Downloaded file list--where it was showing as "canceled"--and click on the RETRY button to complete. That is better that nothing, but not ideal.

I am guessing it may be timing out. Does everyone agree? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to eliminate the need for that extra step?
