Is it possible to manage more than one lokal folder with thunderbird?
Actualy I use Microsoft Outlook. I use the "pst-file-feature" to archive my mails year by year. So I understand thunderbird only can manage only one lokal archive file with alimitation of 4 GB. To make sure that no message are lost I have to deleteold messages :-(.

No, Thunderbird does not use a single pst files to store everything local. Neither is there a 4 GB limitation for the size of mail files.
