Mozilla Firefox Browser can't connect to google, youtube.

When connecting to youtube, it shows " Secure Connection Failed The connection to www.youtube.com was interrupted while the page was loading. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

When connecting to google, it shows"500 Internal Privoxy Error Privoxy encountered an error while processing your request: Could not load template file no-server-data or one of its included components. Please contact your proxy administrator. If you are the proxy administrator, please put the required file(s)in the (confdir)/templates directory. The location of the (confdir) directory is specified in the main Privoxy config file. (It's typically the Privoxy install directory)."

What's weird is, Firefox could connect to Baidu.com and all other Chinese mainland websites. I am Chinese and I have used my laptop in mainland. But now I am in Europe. If this is due to the great firewall in China, I don't understand why it is still having effect. Though some people also reflect their laptop can't connect to google even after going abroad.

In this laptop I could use google chrome to connect to any websites. No problem with that.

I have tried all methods mentioned in your trouble-shooting advices, including uninstalling and deleting all related files, clearing cookie and cache, clearing history, restart the firefox in safe mode, restart the laptop. But none of them works.

It'll be great if you could help me. Thank you very much. Looking forward to your reply.

hi, are you using privoxy on the affected system intentionally? if not, please check in the firefox menu ≡ > options > general > network-proxy > settings... that firefox is set up to directly connect to the internet ('no proxy').

Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can
