When creating a new event, the time zone option is not displayed in the New Event window. Why?

The expectation is you would be creating an event in a time relative to our current time zone. Meeting invitations etc that come from others will have the timezone information in the invite.

@Matt

Thank you for your kind reply. It is sensible, but does not meet a presumably common use case.

Say you are based in NYC. You have a call with a client in Shanghai. He tells you to call him a week from now at 12 pm Shanghai time.

As is, you have to figure out the equivalent time in EST when creating the calendar entry.

I would rather enter the meeting time as 12 pm Shanghai time, and let TB do the adjustment to EST.
