Everytime I send an e-mail I have to reenter the outgoing Server information to get it to send.

When I try to send an e-mail I get an error message to the effect that the program can't connect with the outgoing server. If I go into the account settings, click on the current outgoing server, click edit, make NO changes, close out, it will send the message. What gives?

It sounds like something is corrupted with that account in Thunderbird. I recommend re-creating the account.

If it is a POP account, then move all the e-mail from it to the Local Folders so you don't lose the e-mails. Remove the account (making sure that the SMTP server is removed also), then create the account again.

If it is an IMAP account, then all the e-mail in it should be on the server, so you don't have to worry about losing the e-mails in it. Just remove the account (again, making sure the SMTP server is removed also), then create the account again.
