Since updating to MacOS Sierra, I haven't been able to drag an attachment from an email to my desktop. Instead when I try to drag the attachment, it will move the entire Mail window. I've disabled any add-ons and removed them, restarted, re-downloaded thunderbird, but nothing. Any suggestions on how to fix this or is this a bug within the program?

My guess is it is a bug in OSX. You updates OSX and it stopped working after all.

This just happened to me without any change at all (on El Capitan). Earlier today, I dragged an attachment from an email into its appropriate job folder. Then not much later, I no longer could do that. I restarted Thunderbird, updated it (to 52.0.1), restarted with add-ons disabled. Nothing. After restarting the Finder, it worked again.
