Autamaticaly tagging a reply to a previously tagged message.
Hello All,
I would like to ask you if there is an add-on or any other way to make the following work. We have a common mailbox that is monitored and worked simultaneous by 5-6 employees. As everyone is sending and receiving emails in the same mailbox it becomes really difficult to find, trace a conversation in it. I've worked on Outlook before and there was a very good functionality with tags that was deployed to it.
When you receive a message and you tag it , each email that contains the same subject is automatically tagged with the same tag(s) upon arrival. I've tried searching for some way to implement such feature in Thunderbird, but alas I am not able to find anything that works.
Please share if you know how could this be implemented. Thanks in advance

You could use the Message Filter: Tools > Message Filters click on New give filter a suitable name so easily identifiable Apply filter when : select Manually run Select: Getting new mail and Filter before Junk classification match all of the following: Subject contains choose specific reference that those emails will use. Perform these actions: Tag Message and select the tag. click on OK
Message filters only run automatically on incoming mail which is in the Inbox of that mail account.
If you currently have emails in the Inbox that are not tagged and contain the special reference you set in the Message Filter, you could open the Message filters window, deselect other filter and only enable the one you want then click on 'Run now' to see if it applies the tag you specified. Then you know it will work on new incoming mail.
