I have news max as my default home page . it did this once before on Firefox and i thought i fixed it it works on Chrome. I tried clearing cookies and syill get this why

I need help with print. type settings on Firefox. When I print labels, the orientation is not right, and there are a couple of other things not working properly with printing. Need someone to help me determine what exactly the problem is. Our software is LightSpeed (cloud based retail platform). They don't understand why it isn't working and suggested I contact you,

Firefox 129.0.2 (64-bits) Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (22631.4037)

I have the Dutch and English dictionary installed and both show up in the context menu. But at random, only the Dutch dictionary is checked and the English one not. The Spellchecker then only uses the Dutch and I have to manually enable English again. This is really at random. For example on YouTube: I write a comment and English is checked. But another time on YouTube, English suddenly is not checked and have to enable it again in the context menu. So not a huge deal but still remarkable.

Until today it worked fine. But now whenever I try to login to Xfinity I get You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login" on this server. It works fine on Chrome and Edge. I have disabled my add-ons. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc. I have rebooted. I have turned off firewall. I have checked my DNS. I have changed the DNS protection to OFF in Firefox. I have checked my proxy setting (I have no proxy). I have reinstalled Firefox. Etc. Etc. Nothing works. The fact that it works on Chrome and Edge, that it has worked everyday until today gets me confused. I also tried using my mobile phone as a hot spot to make sure it wasn't related to my Internet connection or IP address. Anyone have any ideas?

Try as hard as I may from all the Help screens, I cannt find a solution to how to permanently pin the Bookmark Toolbar to the side of the screen in my version of Firefox which is 129.0.2 in Windows 11. The option to pin the toolbar where the user wants it to appear seems to have vanished. Am I correct?

The only options I can find in Firefox now are Show Toolbar and it will only appear across the top of the screen (unless I Ctrl+B); Show in new tab or Hide.

Ctrl+B will bring up the tool bar, say to the left, but when Firefox is closed and re-opened there is the need to Ctrl+B again to redisplay the toolbar. My experience of Windows 10 was that everytime I opened Firefox my side bar for Bookmarks automatically appeared because I had always been able to pin it there.

Please help to restore the function, if it hasn't been removed through updates.

About two or three times a month the PC randomly freezes completely if a video is running in the actual Firefox browser (regardless of the site, regardless of whether it is in the active tab or in the background). First the image freezes, after about 10 seconds the sound freezes. Only a hard reset helps. The problem is observed both in actual Windows 11 and in Manjaro Linux. In games, rendering, stress tests and other PC works stably, does not freeze. How to solve this problem?

I need to uninsntall my present version of firefox and reinstall an upgraded version . i have a desktop frontier has ended their e-mail and therefore I no longer have the e-mail that everyone knows me by I have no e-mail except on my phone. My reachaable E-Mail is marcumgrover@gmail.com

I have the "Always ask you where to save files" check box checked in settings, but it still just automatically saves everything to my downloads folder and I keep having to then cut and paste the file where I want it. I also have "Ask whether to open or save files" checked. Any idea how to fix this, so it will ask me where to save downloads?

Having hundreds of opened tabs across many windows and 3 separate desktops , I can not find tab that suddenly become active. Particular Icon of active desktop icon and active window icon and list of tabs specific icon should be flashing to make easy to find transmitting/active Icon/tab in ‘Firefox’.

Before, when I would restart Firefox, windows (not tabs, those get restored fine) would be restored to whichever desktop they were previously on. So if I had 2 desktops and one Firefox window in each, on restart the windows would be assigned to their respective desktops. Now, however, both windows always get reassigned to the first desktop.

Am on win10 -- FF 118.0.2

A strange thing has just occurred in the past two days -- Firefox will no longer drag and drop URLs to form a shortcut on the desktop; I get only the international "can't do that" symbol, the circle with a slash, as I drag.

When I make a shortcut within firefox, then copy it and paste to the desktop, instead of the FF icon, I get the blank sheet, but when I look at the file with Notebook, it shows all the expected content:

I've googled for answers, but found nothing worthwhile. One suggestion was to shift the default browser to something else. I chose Google Chrome. Did no good. The shortcuts remained inactive. I could drag and drop from Chrome to the desktop but the shortcuts were still of a white sheet and inactive.

So, I'm suspecting something in Windows needs to be reset, but what? Can't find anything about where and how url shortcuts are treated in the registry. It's an annoyance. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, Could you add a simple feature for autoscrolling pdf files in the built-in viewer ? It would be a great help when playing sheet music, etc.

Just: start/stop (with hotkeys) and scroll speed setting. It exists for chrome: Tab Scroller - Guitar Tab Auto Scroll, but I would prefer to use firefox of course.

Since the last update, websites (eg- Pocket) that use Captcha recognition as part of the sign-in proceedure aren't loading the Captcha page. Ive checked other browsers & Captcha sign-in works normally. It means I can't use Firefox to log into websites which use Captcha & have to use an alternative browser instead. I've turned off all add-ons such as privacy badger, uBlock, Trace etc

When I open https://www.bluemountain.com/ the login is a popup. Firefox remembers my log in and when I click "Sign In" nothing happens. This worked fine up to the last Firefox update. Blue Mountain tells me it is some sort of security issue.

 An update or two (maybe more?) ago, the plus sign with which we add shortcuts to the Firefox browser home page/new tab page disappeared, so now we can no longer add shortcuts on the home page/new tab page.  Please help.  I am running Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64-bit) on a Windows 11 Pro 64-bit if that makes any difference.  Thanks.

Is there a problem with downloading from streaming services? I noticed that Chrome had a similar problem to mine. Since about last Saturday, I cannot download MSNBC and other programing on YouTube TV -new shows (Live or Recorded) from YouTube TV. Sometimes there is an error - "there was an error licensing this video". Sometimes it is just a revolving circle that never completes. The programs appear fine on my son's cable. The "about" says that Firefox is up to date and Windows 10 did a cumulative update on 8/13 but streaming worked fine at least through 8/22.

I don't like the default homepage provided by Firefox, so I found an extension that can offer better tabs. But when I open Firefox, my homepage doesn't show the page provided by the extension. It's still Firefox's default homepage. Only when I open a new tab will the page provided by the extension appear. Also, the settings don't offer the option to replace Firefox's default homepage with the page provided by the extension. I need to replace the homepage from Firefox's default homepage to the tab provided by the extension.
