Thanks for your quick response.

The suggested add-on does not work with the current version of Firefox. A pop-up message appears saying that the add-on is not compatible with Firefox 25.0.1. Is there a way to upgrade the add-on to make it compatible?

Disable Add-on Compatibility Checks can be used to override the compatibility check for one extension at a time.

But that may not fix that extension for your locale. The developer of that extension mentions this - Important: Google has disabled this API in many regions. This add-on may not work for your region. - in the description on the add-on download page.
