On my web site the SSL certificate is an EV certificate. When I browse to the site the site identity button is green until the page finishes loading and then the identity button goes grey and says that the site does not supply identity information. The site produces an appropriate identity display in IE 9.

I see nothing at all because I don't have Silverlight installed. I did see the green indicator for the EV certificate, but it disappeared when that Silverlight banner appeared.
You are loading unencrypted content on what is supposed to be an encrypted web page, see the screenshot.
